This is an example of a Full Adder made using logic ICs, watch the video tutorial to learn how it works.

The exact parts I used to demonstrate this circuit are listed below. Please note that the only reason I used multiple ICs was to make the example more clearly with regards to producing your own 4bit Full Adder. However, if you are only interested in building a single bit FA, a single Dual/Quad gate IC will be sufficient.

Components list:

2 x Quad 2 Input XOR Gate (74HC4070) IC1,IC2

2 x Quad 2 Input AND Gate (74LS08) IC3,IC4

1 x Quad 2 Input OR Gate (74LS32) IC5

9 x 1KΩ Resistors R1-R9

2 x 220Ω Resistors R10,R11

2 x LEDs

3 x MOM-ON Buttons A,B,C -> HIGH
